Based on a Python WX Gui, the groundstation consolidates telemetry, issues commands, calculates position, and aims the radio receiver.

We ensure a few channels of redundant information, including video overlays of position and heading, a separate video channel, and limited onboard autonomy.

We are using Cockroach microcontrollers on board the UAV, programmed in GNU GCC for Atmega cores.
